The article considers the prerequisites for the occurrence and main disorders of language development at an early age, as well as the direct interaction of speech therapists and parents, as an important condition for effective corrective speech therapy work with children. The development of speech and language of preschool children in game activities is analyzed, as a theoretical and methodological aspect, the readiness of preschool children for speech communication in game activities.
Features of the use of logrhythmic exercises in working with children are outlined. It is pointed out that if children are able to interact with their environment, their language skills will continue to grow as they learn effective communication skills. Speech disorders can make communication difficult. Someone may have problems with articulation (production of speech sounds), for example, lisping, when a person replaces the letters “c” and “z” with “sh”; voice: the pitch and volume of sounds emitted; fluency (flow of speech), such as stuttering or stammering. Sometimes speech-impaired children have oral-motor problems. This means that the muscles used to create speech are not working properly. Speech disorders can also be associated with conditions such as developmental delay, autism, hearing impairment, weakness of the muscles around the mouth, cleft lip or palate, hoarseness, and breathing or swallowing disorders.
Research shows that treatment for speech problems focuses on speech therapy to improve skills. Logarithmic exercises are more successful if speech therapy work is started early with children. Therapy can also help older children, but their progress may be slower because their movement patterns are more ingrained. Parental support is the key to a child's successful progress in speech therapy. Children who complete a speech program the fastest and with the longest lasting results are those whose parents are involved. The process of overcoming a language disorder can take some time and effort. Therefore, it is important that all family members show patience and understanding.
