Abstract

Project-based learning is an educational system,
a flexible model of organization of the way of teaching.
It is focused on a creative self-realization of the students’
personalities, the development of their intellectual and
physical capacities, volitional powers, creative skills during the process of the creation of a new product under the
teacher’s control when the teacher has a perfect knowledge of a real situation and owns a subjective novelty.
Exactly using this method, the author tries to develop the
creative students’ talents while studying Physics.
The preparation of a project is a painstaking and versatile work. The child develops his intellectual abilities
while studying the subject of research. Also, the student
develops his communication skills during the defense of
a project answering the teacher’s or opponents’ questions. Leadership abilities are certainly developed too.
Most of the projects are carried out by the groups of
students. It facilitates the interaction of all teammates.
I think this event for the students will help them in choosing professions later in life.
The purpose of the master class “Decomposition
of white light into colors. The formation of colors” –
based on the laws of reflection and refraction of light, to
learn more about colors, color mixing; create a laptop
“Colors”; to show a workshop on the application of the
project method for identifying and accompanying a gifted
child in the educational process.
The task of the master class is to acquaint with the history of the theory of light; to form an idea of the nature of
light; to develop an interest in the use of colors and filters
and the connection of physics with life.
