Advan tages of Using G. Doman’s Early Learning Method in a Child’s Individual Development

Abstract

The article highlights the current tasks that scientists and educators are addressing in the process of developing preschool education in Ukraine. Modern trends and progressive changes in legislation, as well as recommendations for the use of innovative technologies, methods, and concepts in today’s social context, are taken into account.

We consider it important to analyze the best achievements of both foreign and national researchers, and to test methods and systems aimed at improving the educational process in preparing to work with young children. Emphasis is placed on the expediency of applying theoretical knowledge, educators’ practical experience, and psychologists’ recommendations in order to integrate this knowledge into methodological guidelines for preschool teachers and parents of young children.

The necessity of considering the individual characteristics of a child’s psychological, physical, and social development is underlined, so that the implementation of innovations will have a positive effect. In our presentation, G. Doman’s early development method is examined in more detail, as it is one of the most well-known approaches worldwide and is gaining popularity in the methodological work of Ukrainian researchers.

We propose a pedagogical rationale for the advantages of this method, and have developed methodological recommendations for educators and caring parents who are open to innovations. This allows them to analyze the content of G. Doman’s system, familiarize themselves with didactic materials, and experience the joy of exploring the world together with children.
