Curriculum for the “Media children” out-of-school humanitarian education

Abstract

Readers are offered an author's educational program on extracurricular education “Media Children”, which is supported by the creative association “Children and youth creativity center – TV” of the Center for Creativity of Children and Youth of the Pryluky City Council. It emphasizes the creative development of the individual through mastering the basics of journalistic skills in all types of journalism: photo, radio, internet, television and newspaper journalism, giving preference to practical creative activity over the realization of one’s own ideas in various forms and genres of media - projects.

In our Center for the creativity of children and youth, there is a creative association “Children and youth creativity center – TV”, the main task of which is to create a creative team with a modern worldview and an active life position. Here, young people who like to be in the epicenter of the most interesting events both inside and outside the walls of their institution, want to learn how to make the mundane exciting, and the exciting incredible, and dream of becoming part of the media industry.

Learning and acquiring new information is an important process at various stages of socialization. Research shows that media is the primary source of information for different age groups. A journalist is one of the most interesting and important professions today.
