Methodological Development of “The Psychologist’s Lessons in Primary and Secondary Schools”

(part 2)

Abstract

The article presents work devoted to the preservation and correction of the psychological health and emotional state of students who are experiencing strong emotions due to the war in Ukraine.

The article presents methodical development of psychologist hours with primary and secondary school students: calendar planning, topics of psychologist hours, description of meetings, presentation materials and useful links. The proposed materials can be used both in ofine and online meetings. Readers are invited to familiarize themselves with the developed and collected exercises, techniques and techniques (coloring pages, exercises, training elements, stress relief exercises, etc.) for providing psychological assistance and self-help. Psychologist hours in the online format are held during periods of various emergency situations in society, so their main goal is emotional support for each other, the search for internal resources and stabilization of the emotional state. Online communication (according to the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine) should take place within 30–40 minutes, so the class should be dynamic, contain various exercises for switching activities and take into account the peculiarities of students’ perception of the technical tool. Meetings must include warm-up at the beginning and reflection at the end of each lesson in the form of an exchange of mood between participants (facial expressions, gestures, icons, emoticons). A  psychologist’s hour, like every online class, includes physical exercises to relieve stress: neurogymnastics, movements, eye and breathing exercises.

The developed material is addressed to practical psychologists who work in educational institutions, primary school teachers, class teachers and class leaders.
