The publication presents the peculiarities of conducting a correlation analysis and building a correlation matrix for the study of “priority psychological competencies of individual competitiveness”, based on the results of mathematical and statistical analysis using the SPSS program, digital and STEM methods. The peculiarities of experimental verification “1. Diagnostic model of examination of psychological competences of individual competitiveness”, which is one of the components of the author’s “Technology of formation of psychological competences of individual competitiveness in the conditions of innovative activity of organizations” (V. Chudakova). The role and possibilities of mathematical and statistical analysis of empirical data in research are considered: factor, correlation and cluster analysis. The main indicators are revealed by the author's method “Expertise on the priority of psychological competences of the individual's competitiveness” (author, V. Chudakova). The theory and practice of carrying out correlation analysis and building a correlation matrix for the study of “priority psychological competencies of individual competitiveness” using the SPSS statistical program are presented. The content of the concepts correlation matrix, the main tasks of analysis of the correlation matrix, comparison of correlations, the meaning of the correlation relationship are revealed.
