Factors of formation of communicative competence of higher education students

The article analyzes the problem of formation of students' communicative competence in the space of higher education. The concept of "professional-communicative competence of students" is defined and substantiated. The article emphasizes the modern human interaction with other people and with the world, which is extremely intensified with the expansion of technical possibilities of information exchange. The main factors of formation of professional-communicative competence of higher education applicants are characterized. Types of professional-communicative competence and ways of their improvement by means of educational technologies and methods are defined. Speaking about communicativeness of personality, it is necessary not to limit the research circle only to the diagnostics of knowledge and abilities, communicative skills. After all, communication is connected with the orientation of personality, is its component of motivational and demand sphere, prompts the formation of world outlook, development of intelligence, choice of value orientations. Communicative competence includes the following polyfunctional components: activity in communication, emotional reactivity, speed of decision-making (personality temperament), communicative confidence, stability of self-regulation, communicative objectivity and subjectivity.
The analysis of scientific views on the issue of formation of students' communicative competence allowed us to determine the orientation and polyfunctionality of students' communicative competence by identifying and justifying its formation factors and principles of organization in a modern institution of higher education. Students' communicative competence is characterized by the skills of tolerant communication by verbal and nonverbal means of speech, influencing the interlocutor, building a constructive dialogue, conflict resolution and adjusting to their own emotional stability when communicating with educational partners. The barriers that become on the way to the formation of successful communicative competence of students are outlined
