Curriculum for the Elective Course “Digital Research Presentation Workshop”

The article presents the curriculum of the elective course “Digital Research Presentation Workshop” for educational applicants in grades 7–9. The goal of the program is to develop in educational applicants the skills of effective, creative and interactive presentation of research results, particularly in the subjects of the natural and mathematical cycle.
The programme is interdisciplinary in nature, integrating knowledge from the fields of computer science, mathematics and language and literature. The course covers all stages of research presentation: data analysis, visualisation and public speaking in accordance with academic integrity. The course is applied in nature. The programme uses an activity-based approach, including practical classes, public speaking training, working with modern digital resources to present educational activities, data processing and visualisation, as well as project activity. This approach allows educational applicants not only to better assimilate the material, but also to become active participants in simulated educational situations where they directly apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired. The elective course contributes to the formation of key competencies necessary for effective work with information, the development of skills in working with digital applications, critical thinking, successful communication, and further spiritual and intellectual development. The programme consists of six modules: the basics of research and presentation of its results; statistical analysis and data visualisation; creation and demonstration of presentations; posters and poster presentations; innovative formats for presenting research results; preparation for presentation and presentation of research results.
