Abstract

The publication examines the features of applying artificial intelligence in adult music self-education. Some specialized AI programs for creating electronic music have been studied and briefly described. These programs are continuously improving, and new ones are emerging, while new AI-based modules are being added to existing electronic music creation programs. Most of these software tools offer different subscription options (free or paid), providing conditions for anyone to use these programs for music self-education and creativity. At the same time, the application of artificial intelligence in the music field raises many challenges: ethical aspects of establishing copyright, the reduction of human creativity, the lack of an emotional component in AI-generated musical works, and others. Conclusions have been drawn that the integration of artificial intelligence in the music field opens up new opportunities for music self-education, creativity, and music content consumption. Currently, anyone without a musical education can create musical products using various AI-based software tools for different purposes, such as generating song lyrics, generating melodies, and more.
