Methodological support for the implementation of innovative science education practices in the regional network of Ukraine’s junior academy of sciences

The peer-reviewed manual presents the results of the work of the scientific team of the giftedness development designing department in the direction of methodical support for the implementation of innovative practices of science education at the Ukrainian Junior Academy of Sciences. The review analyzes the correspondence of the manuscript to the requirements for methodical literature: relevance; content; structure; a harmonious combination of theory and practice; expediency and correctness of methodological apparatus; systematic, scientific, and competent presentation of the material, etc.
The reviewer notes the topical and innovative nature of the presented results, which contribute to forming necessary entrepreneurial and STEM competencies in gifted pupils of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
The structure of the content of the manual is built according to a logical scheme: from general theoretical aspects to reveal the possibilities of the practical application of the methodological principles of science education and their implementation in the system of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, which fully reveals its topic and contributes to the practical consolidation of the theory.
The theoretical part presents topical material on research into the formation of science education and its methodological tools. The practical part contains a detailed description of two newly created educational and two developed diagnostic methods, which gives an idea of the effectiveness of the innovative activity of a team of scientists and methodologists. The developed products are promising for further use and have various ways of application in various educational institutions.
The material is presented holistically, comprehensively, homogeneously, and informatively, and the presentation is presented in a scientific style typical of this type of work. Each subsection of the manual contains a list of sources used. The basis of source base is made up of modern scientific publications, mainly of foreign origin. The manual is completed with appendices with newly created diagnostic methods prepared for use in pedagogical practice.
The peer-reviewed methodical manual meets all the requirements for scientific works of this type and can be recommended for publication.
