MISSION AND SCOPE

The journal is a platform for scientific communication within the cluster “Human Capital Development, Social Sciences, and Journalism”. Our goal is to facilitate the modernization of the educational space through the publication of results from fundamental and applied research. The publication focuses on the strategic development of human potential, support for the intellectual elite, and the improvement of scientific and methodological support for education in Ukraine.

The publication publishes original research covering such key areas as educational sciences and innovations, as well as psychological support and personal development (A1–A7, C4). On the pages of the quarterly scientific and methodological journal “Education and Development of Gifted Personality, authors:

  • highlight the problems of identification, development, and support of giftedness in children and youth in modern Ukraine, and analyze global experience on the specified topic;
  • investigate issues of psychodiagnostics of giftedness in children and youth, provision of psychological support to all participants of the educational process, psychological prerequisites for ensuring the effectiveness of modern educational activity, development of creativity and skills of the future (soft skills, critical thinking, adaptability), as well as issues of increasing the productivity of psychological and pedagogical activity in modern realities;
  • address issues of implementing innovative technologies in educational institutions of various types and forms of ownership, including preschool, general secondary, extracurricular, and vocational education, which contributes to improving the content of educational activity, enhancing the upbringing process of the young generation of Ukrainians, and improving scientific and methodological support in the provision of educational services;
  • pay special attention to the development of STEM/STEAM education as a tool for integrating science, technology, and art;
  • explore inclusive approaches, special education methodologies, and individual educational trajectories for gifted individuals with special needs; outline problems of lifelong learning and professional development of pedagogical staff;
  • share and exchange experience of innovative developments: scientists – with innovative theoretical developments, practitioners – with experience that contributes to improving the quality of management of the educational process and enhancing its scientific and methodological support;
  • highlight issues of health-improving and sports activities, research methodologies for the development of physical abilities of gifted youth, as well as means of physical rehabilitation and the formation of professional and applied skills in the process of vocational training;
  • elucidate problems of adult education and the solution to the problem of lifelong learning in the conditions of Ukraine's integration into the European educational community.

The publication is oriented towards leading domestic and foreign scientists, doctoral students, postgraduate students, heads of educational institutions, as well as creative practicing teachers who implement innovative methodologies (specifically in the sections “Master Class”, “Author’s Programs and Projects”). This professional scientific publication disseminates the research results of domestic and foreign scientists regarding the phenomenon of giftedness and the practical achievements of outstanding Ukrainian teachers in organizing the educational process for the development of students’ talents.

The journal pays special attention to the promotion of the achievements of Ukraine’s talented youth. The publication has a popular-science section “I Am a Gifted Personality”, where the editorial board introduces readers to the outstanding achievements of young talents from all regions of the country. The heroes of the rubric are schoolchildren (from the youngest to graduates), students, and youth collectives who demonstrate extraordinary abilities in intellectual, creative, scientific-technical, or sports spheres. These are leaders of student government, winners of international competitions, young inventors, artists, athletes, dance groups, and future scientists whose example inspires the development of the potential of the new generation of Ukrainians.
