The way to the dream is taken by small steps

Abstract

Today, students of general secondary education institutions have unlimited opportunities to develop themselves and their own abilities (giftedness) in any field of science and art. In Ukraine, at the state level, such personalities are supported, developed and motivated by the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Regardless of the place of residence, students have the opportunity to experiment, develop, design, launch, grow, i.e. perform various scientific researches under the guidance of scientific supervisors (doctors and candidates of sciences working in higher education institutions and scientific institutions).

In this article, the authors are a young researcher, a graduate of Kyiv Gymnasium No. 283, a laureate of the scholarship of the President of Ukraine, a student of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University Rudyk Andriy and his supervisor Yefimova Tetyana, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, senior research associate, supervisor of the statistics section of the Kyiv Small Academy of Sciences of the Students’ Youth, the mathematics teacher of gymnasium No. 283 – shares her impressions about participation in the III stage of the competition – the defense of research works of students – members of the Small Academy of Sciences.

Andriy Rudyk was a participant of the XVIII, XIX and XX International scientific and practical conferences of students, postgraduates and young scientists “Shevchenko Spring”, which takes place every year at Taras Shevchenko National University. Abstracts of his works were published in the materials of these conferences. In 2022, he took third place at the ECO TECHNO 2022 competition.
