Abstract

In the article, at the empirical level, the polystructural model of the readiness of gifted high school students to choose professions in the field of entrepreneurship is investigated through factor analysis of data.

The author included the following diagnostic methods in the factor analysis of the data: the method “Determining the professional type of personality” (J. Holland); the “Diagnostics of leadership abilities” technique (E. Zharikov, E. Krushelnytskyi); 16-factor questionnaire of R. Ketell (form C); questionnaire motivation of success and fear of failure (A. Rean); the author's questionnaire “Definition of skills and qualities for entrepreneurial activity”; the author's questionnaire for teachers and managers of extracurricular educational institutions regarding the introduction into the educational process of a comprehensive program of training gifted high school students to choose the profession “Entrepreneurship”.

According to the appropriate method, 6 psychodiagnostic methods were included, of which 52 scales worked. The clearly expressed 3 factors made up the sum of squares of 32 units, the variance was 61%, and the commutation index was + 131 units. Due to the factor analysis of the data, the following structural components were selected: oriented-behavioral, emotional-volitional, motivational-value.

The most pronounced factor with a large number of scales = 16, which worked according to the method of mathematical statistics, we called oriented-behavioral because most of the scales that were included in the corresponding component reflected a meaningful theoretical component of the polystructural model of the readiness of gifted high school students to choose professions in the field of entrepreneurial activity.

The results of the scales selected by factor analysis, including the second component, are justified. There are 9 of them. We called it emotional-volitional, because according to most scales, it highlights quality data. Choosing the profession of an entrepreneur, it is difficult to imagine a person without a strong will and the inability to control his emotions.

The third component, which plays an important role in the professional self-determination of entrepreneurial activity, was analyzed – the motivational and  value component, where 5 scales worked.
