Abstract

The article is devoted to the relevant issue of the development of emotional self-regulation of primary schoolchildren with manifestations of giftedness. In the context of European integration, despite the current realities and difficult conditions, Ukraine conducts research and organizes special work on the education of gifted children and youth. The importance of a positive emotional state for the creative self-realization of talented individuals, in particular in times of war, is substantiated. It has been found that self-regulation includes the ability to restrain one's own emotional manifestations as a kind of obstacle to interpersonal communication, and also involves the ability to show positive emotions, adequate to the situation. The affective potential of theatrical art, which is not only a purely artistic phenomenon, but also a special type of communication, since during its production there is a multi-vector artistic and emotional communication, is clarified. The importance of the participation of potentially gifted primary schoolchildren in the work of a theatre club for the development of their emotional sphere is investigated. The importance of the participation of potentially gifted primary school children in the work of a theatre circle for the development of their emotional sphere is investigated. While watching a play or participating in a theatrical performance, conditions are created for the development of children's talents, musical, artistic, acting and other abilities; the deployment of creative resources. Opportunities are also provided for adjusting the emotional sphere of the group's participants. The development of emotional self-regulation takes place during the organization of collective creative activity, which involves jointly choosing or creating a play, rehearsals, making costumes and scenery, staging a performance, reflecting on and analyzing the joint work on organizing a theatrical performance. The theoretical and methodological features of organizing the work of the theatre circle are revealed, its structure is modified in accordance with the tasks of developing emotional self-regulation of children with manifestations of giftedness.
