Discovery and development of design talent in the future specialists of building technologies

The article reveals the problem of identifying and developing design talent in future construction technology specialists. The authors argue that design talent is an essential component of a successful career in this field, and that it can be developed through dedicated effort.
The authors note that project creativity is necessary for scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, artists and designers to establish a dialogue among themselves in order to offer the widest range of opportunities and ideas in the academic and social spheres for conducting experiments and developing innovative solutions.
The modern construction industry needs specialists who have not only technical knowledge, but also design talent. This is due to the fact that design is becoming an increasingly important component of successful construction projects.
Design talent is a set of abilities that allow a person to create aesthetically pleasing and functional objects. These abilities include: creativity, spatial thinking, the ability to imagine objects in three dimensions, aesthetic sense, the ability to feel and appreciate beauty, as well as technical skills – the ability to bring your ideas to life.
There are a number of methods for identifying design talent in children and adolescents. There are special tests that allow you to assess the level of development of creativity, spatial thinking and other abilities necessary for design. Teachers and parents can observe children for signs of gifted design, such as an interest in drawing and building.
Ability to generate new and original ideas, attention to details, striving for perfection.
Design talent can be developed through focused effort. Training, practice, feedback, and support are methods of developing design talent. Design talent is becoming an increasingly important component of a successful career in the construction industry. This is due to the growing importance of design, the complexity of construction projects, and their successful completion requires specialists who possess not only technical knowledge, but also design talent. New technologies, such as 3D printing, give designers new opportunities to bring their ideas to life.
