The Use of Teaching Methods in the Process of Training the Future Teachers’ Language Personality

Abstract

The article substantiates the essence and the contents
of the organization active cognitive activities of the higher
pedagogical education students. Modern requirements to
professional training of the linguistic personality of the
future teachers in the context of activation their cognitive
activities are given in the article. The expediency of using
active forms and methods of teaching in the process
of teaching linguistic disciplines is also proved. The
experience of using active forms of organization of future
teachers’ educational and cognitive activities in the
process of their professional training is presented.
Methods of active teaching the linguistic disciplines
are defined and characterized. Our own recommendations
for the use of didactic games in the process of training
the future teachers’ linguistic personality are highlighted.
The professional features of the future teacher’s speech
activities are determined. Based on the analysis of the
educational and methodical literature and the own
pedagogical experience it is recommended to use the
following didactic games in the teaching linguistic
disciplines: “Language hockey”, “Language lexicon”,
“Blitz tournament”, “Pedagogical dispute”, “Journey”,
“Language experts”, etc. The authors also offer
recommendations for conducting these didactic games.
The conditions of influence of didactic games on the
efficiency of the professional speech of the future teacher
are presented. Ways to improve the speech of the future
teacher are described.
Professional training of the future teachers’ linguistic
personality becomes similar in basic characteristics to the
real future of the pedagogical reality if students are involved
into the active cognitive activities based on the tasks of the
professional training. The system of forms and methods of
teaching linguistic disciplines has a wide range of active
ways of interaction. A special role among active teaching
methods is played by didactic games, which promote the
activation of the educational process, the formation of
interest in language learning, increase motivation, form
language skills of the future professional activities, speech
improvement, ways to solve specific pedagogical problems
