The Way to Success

Abstract

In the article under the heading “I am a gifted person”
the author offers to meet the three-time European champion,
champion of the Cup of Ukraine, multiple champion and
winner of International, All-Ukrainian, regional and city
karate competitions – sixteen-year-old Yaroslav Kryzhev.
The author of the article describes the experience
of the Sports Center DUM “Olympus” KMR, in which
coaches have been educating successful athletes for
years, emphasizing that the main purpose of education
in this sports centre is the formation and development of
important personal qualities of young athletes.
At the age of 16, Yaroslav Kryzhev is a three-time
European champion, Ukrainian Cup champion, multiple
champion and prize-winner of international, AllUkrainian, regional and city competitions.
Yaroslav started his career in karate at the age of
five. Parents, taking care of their child's health and
physical development, decided to take him to a sports
centre, a karate section. From the first trainings
it became clear that it was the right choice – the
child's eyes were burning, he diligently performed
all the exercises, was very attentive, purposeful and
persistent.
After several months of active training, Yaroslav
took part in the competition for the first time, taking
the first place of honour. This victory added even more
inspiration and perseverance to work on yourself.
It's no secret that the guy had moments of frustration
and emotional decline when he did not really want
to train and not everything turned out as simply as
desired. But the support of his parents and friends the
athletes helped him to overcome certain difficulties.
