Stand Museum as an Innovative Learning Tool for Forming an Integrated Picture of the World in the Context of STREAM Education

Modernization of the educational process should be
aimed at providing children with knowledge integrated
from different fields to form a holistic picture of the
world and the ability to apply the acquired knowledge
and skills in a variety of life situations. At present,
it is important to develop and implement innovative
teaching aids that promote the development of
pre-schoolers’ abilities in the exact sciences and
humanities. The introduction of a new direction of
education – STREAM – is relevant and effective. This
area combines the tasks of forming children's scientific
ideas about the world, familiarity with information and
communication technologies, developing the ability to
experiment, teaching children the basics of processing
the content of the text, as well as understanding different
arts. The innovation of the STREAM education system
is aimed at integrating the development, education and
upbringing of children. Understanding the theoretical
foundations makes it possible to identify the following
vectors of pedagogical influence: gaining experience
in joint research and creative activities; ensuring
the development of the child as a person capable of
reasonable action in various situations, awareness of
responsibility to themselves, the team and society for
the results of their activities.
To solve these problems, the educational system
Stand-Museum was developed that creates an
information-constructive environment, which is
the basis for the implementation of the STREAM
direction in the preschool institution. Considering
the extraordinary sociability of modern children, it
is necessary to select manuals for educational work,
which help to raise questions, stimulate search,
enrich the sensory experience and promote heuristic
discoveries.
