Subject-Action Structure of Role Interaction in the Context of Age Subculture

The article looks at the structure of human role behavior
developed by the author through the prism of the subjectaction approach and age subculture. It is emphasized
that the socio-psychological role acts as a “mediator” in
communication with other individuals, as a mechanism for
including the individual in the social context. In the process
of socialization, a person forms a certain life model: a system
of stable meaningful relationships, behavioral stereotypes,
patterns, hierarchy of habitual activities, a specific age
subculture.
The article describes the system model of sociopsychological mechanisms of human influence on humans,
developed by psychologist V. Tatenko and his scientific
school.
It is noted that in real communication situations,
role interaction is a two-way process, and therefore
the structure of role interaction is twofold, i.e. one that
belongs to each of the communication partners. In the
process of life, a person forms a certain repertoire of
psychological roles that are part of the structure of his/
her personality. These roles are determined not only by
the groups in which they operate and social expectations,
but have an individual colour, bearing the imprint of
personality.
In the process of role development, life roles, which are
related to the position of the subject of leading activities
and the leading needs of this stage, and appear as new
formations of this age, which determine different age
subcultures, correspond to each age period or stage.
