Abstract

The main task of a modern school, which is confrmed and disseminated by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the UNICEF International Organization, is the creation of a new educational space, the main principles of which are formation of a safe educational environment, as well as ensuring the rights, freedoms and interests of children. The concept of "New Ukrainian School" (NUS) requires reforming the existing algorithm of developmental, corrective and preventive work.

The author's project presents a program aimed at preventing and countering bullying in the in the Talalaivka institute of general secondary education. In order to create a safe educational space in the educational institution, the Code of Safe Educational Environment was developed. The sections of the program reveal the concept of "bullying", the procedure for responding to and countering bullying, the algorithm of actions to prevent bullying, monitoring the code of a safe educational environment. The project presents the order "On the creation of a safe educational environment, the formation of valuable life skills in children and students" and a plan of measures aimed at preventing and combating bullying, which will help to effectively combat bullying and create a safe environment in an educational institution.

The main purpose of the Code in an educational institution is to teach children and adults to interact safely in the educational process, as well as to protect children from violence and abuse by peers and adults (parents, guardians or employees of educational institutions).
