The article deals with the problem of training military specialists in the context of transformation of military education. The structure of military education in Ukraine is presented. The Concept for the Transformation of the Military Education System (ed. 2022) is analyzed and a number of organizational and pedagogical problems that necessitate the transformation of the military education system in Ukraine are highlighted. It is proved that the transformation of military education is a prerequisite for the training of competent military professionals in the face of today's numerous challenges.
The didactic possibilities of using innovative information and communication technologies, positive directions of their implementation in the educational process are highlighted, and the need to implement artificial intelligence technologies (simulators, virtual reality systems, simulators, training systems, simulation tools and other tools) in the training of military specialists is substantiated.
Based on the analysis of the national legislative framework and scientific psychological and pedagogical sources, the modern requirements for the training of military specialists in the context of the transformation of military education (organization and provision of a multi-level system of training of military specialists; timely updating of specific skills of military specialists, mastering the skills of operational planning, force management; training in the interests and requests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; updating the structure and content of education; providing a model for training military specialists) are summarized.
Prospects for further areas of scientific research are outlined.
