Formation of Creative Competence in Ukrainian Literature Lessons during Distance Learning

Today, education aims at shaping individuals who are capable of making responsible decisions, thinking critically, solving problems creatively, and achieving self-realization, thus fostering a competent personality. It is no longer enough to simply possess knowledge; one must also be adaptable to the changing needs of the labor market, manage information effectively, take proactive action, make quick decisions, and embrace lifelong learning. By creatively designing one’s life, a person not only gains knowledge but also develops competence.
In the context of the ongoing war, secondary educational institutions have transformed into centers that provide not only knowledge but also psychological assistance and support for children. The educational process had to be adjusted to ensure it remained both comfortable and safe for all participants.
This article explores the challenge of developing students' creative competence in the framework of implementing the State Standard of Secondary Education, specifically in Ukrainian language and literature lessons during distance learning. The article outlines the key directions, methods, and forms of work that contribute to the development of creative competence among schoolchildren.
The organization of high-quality mass distance learning in conditions of martial law is a complex and extremely difficult process, but painstaking systematic work on the implementation and improvement of modern technologies of distance learning in the educational process will help to achieve positive results in the future. A modern lesson in Ukrainian literature is the fruit of the skill and creativity of a teacher-literary specialist, his professionalism, thorough knowledge of literature, history, linguistics, and ethnography.
In modern conditions, one of the strategic tasks of the education system is the formation of a personality with a high level of intellectual culture, focused on continuous self-development, recognizing the priority of universal human values, capable of ensuring the sustainable development of humanity in the future with his activities.
