AI POLICY
Recognizing the potential of modern technologies, the journal simultaneously adheres to strict ethical standards regarding the use of AI. Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Claude, Perplexity AI, Midjourney, Grammarly, etc.) can be beneficial for text editing (improving grammar, style, or translation) and material structuring, but their use must be transparent and ethical.
The use of AI is strictly prohibited for generating scientific hypotheses, interpreting results, falsifying or fabricating data, creating misleading images or texts, or replacing the author's own intellectual contribution. Authors bear full personal responsibility for the accuracy of all data, references, and citations. Therefore, they must verify the validity of all automatically generated bibliographic references and data if processed using AI. AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors, as they cannot hold legal responsibility for the content of the material.
Misuse of AI may be considered a violation of ethical standards and serve as grounds for the rejection or retraction of an article.
Editors and reviewers may use AI for technical support, such as checking language, style, or text structure. However, uploading unpublished manuscripts to third-party AI services is prohibited to maintain confidentiality and protect intellectual property.
Authors are required to declare the use of AI in the relevant section of the manuscript (indicated in a footnote on the first page of the article), clearly stating the name of the tool and the purpose of its application.
Example of Disclosure Statement: During the preparation of this manuscript, the author(s) used the ChatGPT tool (version 4.0 by OpenAI) for the purpose of stylistic text editing. After generating the result, the author(s) reviewed and edited the content and bear full responsibility for the article's content.
