Дослідження чинників, що впливають на поведінку підбирання залишків їжі та відходів собаками-компаньйонами

У статті досліджено чинники, що впливають на поведінку підбирання залишків їжі та відходів собаками-компаньйонами. На основі онлайн-анкетування 240 власників собак в Україні у статті проаналізовано поширеність цієї поведінки, її зв’язок із віком, походженням, статтю, кастраційним статусом, типом харчування та тривалістю вигулу. Частіше така поведінка спостерігається в молодих тварин, собак, узятих із вулиці, кастрованих кобелів та тварин, які харчуються лише кормом. Результати можуть бути корисними власникам, ветеринарам і кінологам для профілактики ризиків отруєнь та корекції небажаної поведінки.
