У статті наведено дані світових досліджень щодо підходів до ідентифікації творчо обдарованих учнів. Представлені тести, що використовуються світовими дослідниками для діагностики творчої обдарованості серед учнівського загалу. Описано погляди, методи та підходи до оцінки творчої складової особистості. Докладно представлені види ідентифікації обдарованих учнів, які використовуються фахівцями у світовій практиці. Розглянуто характеристики особистості учня з творчим талантом. Детально описані найважливіші відмінності художньо обдарованого учня в порівнянні з середнім рівнем художнього розвитку.
