In the article, the authors offer to get acquainted with the workshop for teachers “Using art techniques in working with emotional exhaustion and burnout”. Emotional burnout is a process, a syndrome that develops under the influence of constant stress and strain, which can happen to a person who cares about the victims, feels a responsibility and obligation to help them, and who witnesses the cruelty and losses of other people day in and day out. day. Emotional burnout leads to the depletion of a person’s emotional, energy and personal resources. Burnout can lead to changes in a person’s psychological, physical and spiritual state. The professional activity of a teacher has always been one of the most emotionally intense, associated with a large neuropsychological load. Teachers face high emotional stress every day, especially nowadays: stress, anxiety, fear for their own lives and the lives of loved ones, remote work format, uncertainty about the future, etc. Therefore, right now it is worth taking care of your professional stability, because the emotional state of the teacher directly affects the emotional state of all participants in the educational process. In working with emotional burnout, art therapy acts as an effective and efcient tool. The goal of art therapy is to help teachers relieve psycho-emotional stress, as well as to provide them with tools and work methods to overcome emotional burnout. The purpose of the workshop is to: return the balance, appeal to personal meanings; increasing resistance to stress; prevention of psychosomatic problems through the study of self-regulation techniques; personal growth; restoration and activation of cognitive functions of the brain; development of creative potential.
