У статті презентовано результати дослідницької роботи учениці Ліцею № 15 м. Чернігова Катерини Борисенко. Ця робота перемогла на міському етапі конкурсу-захисту МАН і зайняла третє місце на обласному етапі. Дослідницьку роботу присвячено досі маловивченій темі походження страху людей перед собаками. У ході роботи було досліджено те, як рівень страху перед собаками залежить від суми негативного досвіду, пов’язаного з цими тваринами, особистісних рис, статі, досвіду взаємодії з собаками, научіння страху від батьків.
